Amanda Jarman has become known as the movement coach. Her passion is to help people recover from injury, improve movement patterns, and become more efficient movers.
She particularly loves training tennis players and golfers.
As a young child Amanda learnt to play tennis from her parents but grew up to be a professional ballet dancer and remained in that profession until a spinal fracture forced her to retire on longterm disability at 32 setting her on a path to learn as much as she could about movement training and develop her own recovery method.
Along with creating her own her techniques for training Amanda has been trained in numerous movement modalities, GYROTONIC, Pilates, Clincal Pilates, Movement applications for elite athletes, GYROKINESIS and Yoga.
Amanda’s extensive study of movement combined with her ability to see the dysfunctional movement patterns in people and build programs to suit their bodies needs is how she has now become known as ‘the movement coach’.
